THE INTRO BIT

We are a group of highly-experienced Producers, Directors, Scriptwriters, Videographers, Still Photographers, Editors, Graphic Artists and Animators, based in Los Angeles and operating around the world. Since 1995, we have been producing internal and external communications projects for global brands: web/social media, brand statements, marketing, commercials/advertising, PSAs, company profiles, employee profiles, executive messaging, corporate communications, public relations, instruction/education, training, recruitment, employee engagement.

How we work, and how we think

We create and deliver concepts, scripts, storyboards, studio videography, location videography, lighting, audio recording, hair and makeup, acting and performing, editing, voiceover, 2D and 3D graphics and animation, music and captioning. We assemble custom teams of experts for each project, wherever in the world they are needed, and our resources for crew and equipment, for shooting everything from an interview to a feature film, are effectively limitless. We have created 30-second commercials, 2-hour documentaries, and everything in between, with budgets ranging from $1,000 to $1,000,000.

We work directly with decision-makers at large companies and institutions

We work with presidents, VPs, directors and managers; with marketing departments, training departments, corporate communications and HR -- to figure out what needs to be said, who's going to say it, and what it’s going to look like. We often end up with a small group of people, perhaps just two, visualizing what the audience should experience when they watch the message. We talk, we make decisions, and we pick up the cameras.

Our clients are global brands
with the highest requirements
for quality, efficiency, communication,
and results.

Our clients have included American Express, Toyota, Nissan, Jaguar, Land Rover, Johnson & Johnson, Allstate, Samsung, Philips Electronics, LG, Amgen, and Nike. We have recently shot video and stills in Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Miami, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Brighton, Frankfurt, Delhi, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Sydney. We currently have more than 100 RBPI-produced videos running on American Express YouTube channels and websites.

We get to know our clients very well, and we believe this results in clearer communications, unrestricted creativity, a faster process, and a better finished product. And quite often, a smaller budget. It also leads to satisfying, long-term business friendships -- 25 years in some cases.

We love ideas, and we'll bring you lots of them. We're adventurous, open-minded, and spontaneous, and we like to create intense emotional responses in our audiences. We take great pride in our work, and we're good at what we do.

Nice to meet you. This is who we are.

Roger Bartley at work on set for Amazon

Roger Bartley

Producer/Director

Roger is the R ’n B in RBPI. He was previously a producer with NBC News and MTV, and started RBPI in 1995. A native of the United Kingdom, he likes Alesmith beer, science documentaries (must be narrated by Morgan Freeman), and commentating on his own "moves" while playing soccer.

Aasulv Wolf Austad, FNF

Director of Photography

Since no one even in his native Norway can properly pronounce his first name, Aasulv goes by the nickname Wolf. Better, right? Wolf is an award-winning cinematographer who has shot over 30 documentaries, feature films and commercials. These days he’s known better as Mimi’s Dad than Wolf.

Per Larsson

Director of Photography

Per is a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work on the CBS prime time television show The Amazing Race. He has also shot Survivor, The Apprentice, Hell’s Kitchen, and Project Runway. A native of Sweden, Per enjoys a good Smörgåstårta and the occasional Fläskpannkaka, if the mood is right.

Rocket Farm

Editors/Graphic Artists/Animators/Wizards

Jeff and the Rocket Farmers are involved in all of our projects, with particular expertise in:

· Understanding things
· Making things work

These are very important elements of any production, helping avoid awkward situations where nobody understands anything, and/or nothing works. Rocket Farmers enjoy quality b-roll, cocktails brought in on a tray, and a music track that doesn’t inexplicably introduce bagpipes after 30 seconds.

Let's talk!

Don't just sit there. Let's get to it. Click that button. There's nothing to it.

Let's work together.
